Change in H1B Job Title

Question: Last year i got my H1B visa as a SAS Programmer, and i am working as a SAS programmer in a pharmaceutical company. But another pharmaceutical company offering me a good salary considering my previous experience in Industry and the job is very different it is not a SAS Programmer job . Can i do the other job than the SAS Programmer job for the new company.

Answer: Yes, the new Company may file a new H1B with the New Job Title and duties. You are not required to continue as SAS Programmer, you may go for a different job. Remember, all H1B jobs must be under "Specialty Occupation"
